upgrading from plus to professional

Explorer | Level 3

I've just upgraded to dropbox plus. Seemed like a great idea as my hard drive is running out of space on my Mac at home and my PC at work no longer supports my dropbox because it is all stored locally on a wdpassport formatted to Fat32

So what ht happens to all my locally stored exisiting old dropbox files?

I really don't get what is happening in smart synch on my mac

And why can't I see chat support anywhere????

(is it because i have some old dropbox for team stuff (that i have never used) set up?

Re: upgrading from plus to professional

Hi Philip, Smart Sync is only on Dropbox Professional plans and Business, so if you upgraded to Plus only, then you won’t have it yet.
However, if you’ve just upgraded to Professional, the local files won’t go online-only without your making changes this one time.
You can make your files appear online-only by right clicking the Dropbox folder, or any folders/files you want in the Dropbox folder, then Smart Sync > Online-only.
Regarding chat support, depending on your subscription, you might have access to chat, and email support is available for all users. You can view all your support options from the following page when logged into your account.
