AppleID Compromised

My Coworker's AppleID has been compromised. So far no new logins have appeared in Dropbox web browsers or devices. If the AppleID is the account used for Dropbox access, is it possible to change the login? If the Dropbox account is an email, are files safe from a remote login with AppleID. I am telling the coworker to enable 2FA and to unlink/remote delete any files or devices. Thank you for all your help.

When they login to the Dropbox site, do they do it directly via the Apple ID login button, or by entering their Dropbox email (which is the same as the Apple ID) and password?
