Dropbox Badge isn't working as expected; it just shows who else is currently viewing the file

We need help. The dropbox badge doesn't turn red with a lock when someone is editing a file. It just show the name of the person who is viewing it at the same time. But there is another problem, either excel autosaves or something like that because even if someone is just viewing without saving will create a conflicted copy of the file.

If not, would you mind sending over a screenshot of how the Dropbox badge appears for you now, when someone is editing the file?
