Dropbox Paper freezes on Chrome.

Dropbox Paper freezes on Chrome.

For the past month, I cannot use my Dropbox Paper account in my Chrome Browser on my PC running Windows 11. Anytime I open Paper in Chrome, it immediately crashes Chrome and freezes the whole browser. (Says "not responding" in the top bar). It takes 10-30 minutes to stop on its own to then allow me to close the Paper tab (once the tab is closed all other tabs work as normal), otherwise I need to end task Chrome, close it down and reopen it.

It doesn't happen in the browsers Edge or Firefox - works perfectly there.

I have cleared cache, deleted cookies, cleared history, etc. that does nothing.

Any help would be appreciated, I use DB Paper a lot for work.

Tried it as suggested in Chrome and Edge, private browser, no extension or plugins, still the same result...

Hey @Biggie1, sorry to jump in here, but have you cleared your browser's cache since you first noticed this?

Also, have you ensured that you're using the most up to date versions of your web browsers?

Latest versions of each browser.

I've cleared cache. Closed all windows and tabs and tried again and now it's working fine. Hopefully it'll stay that way if I open more tabs and windows.

Thank you!

This isn't solved yet. As soon as you turn the accessibility options back on dropbox starts freezing up again.

I have cleared my cache, and even restarted the PC. (Cache is cleared using F12 - dev tools methods, - I'm a DEV, I know how to clear my cache properly)

This has been accepted as a solution - but it isn't a solution it is a work-around. Is there any news on when the code will be fixed?

The problem is back for me again. I cleared cache again, but this time it didn't help the freezing.

Problem is back again, so went to accessbility and the boxes that you said to untick were ticked again. I unticked and seems to be better. Is this something that has to be done regularly?

Is there any news on this bug getting fix in chrome? Chrome keeps turning the accessibility features back on, and then papers gets crippled.
