Dropbox for Outlook is giving me a "failed to load request" error message

Hi, this app has stopped working. I get the error message "failed to load request". I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but no change. I have been to Microsoft 365 help and they have shared my screen and looked into it but think its a Dropbox issue.

UPDATE:  Not sure it will work for everyone, but I removed the Dropbox folder from under my user folders (c:\users).  This had the same effect.

My solution was to change my password online (dropbox.com).  This caused me to log back into the Dropbox app and it is now working.  Hopefully this works for y'all!

Hi, I just bought a new Mac, and followed community instructions to get Dropbox visible in Finder. Success! But when I try to attach documents to emails in my outlook - either in the app or online - the documents fail to load, and a message tells me the files are "empty". As this is a core function I use many times daily, I am pretty concerned! BTW, the dropbox share in Outlook does work but this is not a sufficient alternative in my work environment. Any ideas about how to get this working properly?

Hey @susanb1, I hope you're having a smooth Monday so far!

I've merged your post under a similar thread, since the OP expressed a similar concern and I wanted to keep everything under one place.

Feel free to check some of the troubleshooting done here, and let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks a bunch!

Hi Megan, How do I find the thread that you moved my question to? I looked at recents but didn't see anything. And I have no idea what OP means... new around here.
