Link in nav bar for "Offline" is now missing on S22 phone

Link in nav bar for "Offline" is now missing on S22 phone

For years, there has been a link on my Samsung phones that said "Offline" which would immediately take me to all of my files I have downloaded for offline use.

As of last week, that link on mine (and my husband's) S22 is gone.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled DB and it's still missing. Anyone have the answer to this annoying problem?

Hey @patgb, sorry to hear about this.

This feature should be available to you through the Account tab in the mobile app now. Simply tap on the Account tab on the bottom right and then tap on the Offline option from there.

Let me know if this helps!

Thanks for your reply.

FEEDBACK: Not sure why this was moved. It's annoying to users to have to go through a learning curve, support tickets, research, etc. when there is no good reason for the change.

The other new related issue is: Now, I cannot see all of my Offline files. The last one on the screen is hidden, meaning I can barely see the very top of the fonts and cannot click on the file. 😞

Thanks for your feedback on this @patgb - it's been noted in our system.

As for the issue you outlined, could you clear the app's cache and let me know if this persists?

If it does, please send us a screenshot so that we can have a visual too.

I cleared the cache. No improvement. This is the screenshot.

I cut off the name of my files at the top of the screen for privacy reasons. However, this is what it looks like at the bottom of my screen and it's not scrollable and even though it's partially visible, it's not clickable.

Hi @patgb, which version of the app do you use on your end? Have you checked for any new updates?

306.2.2

There are no new updates available and as shared, I had already rebooted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled before seeking support. Could it be the change is not compatible with the font size I use on my phone? I don't know. Maybe a place to look?

The font size is not large, but it's not the default tiny font, either.

I have happily used DropBox since 2011. I hope this is taken care of because Offline files are critical to my usage of this app.

Hi @patgb, could you attach a full screen version of the screenshot, while blurring out any personal info? It appears like the device is in landscape mode, but I can't be sure from the image.

Barely visible at all in portrait mode. Not scrollable to reveal all files.

I have to limit the amount of files to (9) in order for all to be visible, which was not the case before. I could have (10) if I wanted and all files were visible/accessible via scrolling.

Hi @patgb, let's try the font suggestion that you mentioned.

Could you try changing your font to a smaller one, and report back to me? It'll be interesting to see the results, and share them with our team.

I appreciate your time!
