Please help.
I'm using a Pixel 6 with Android version 12 updated 7/5/22.
I was trying to open an excel file on Dropbox with Excel.
It then brought me to this page saying "Sign in to Dropbox to link with Microsoft Office Integration" in the Excel app.
I chose "Sign in with Google" since that's how my Dropbox was setup.
After entering my email and password, it told me "You do not have any security keys registered for this account.", so I chose "Try another way".
Then I chose "Tap Yes on your phone or tablet", which then caused Google to send me a notification asking "Are you trying to sign in?"
I chose "Yes, that's me.", then the Authorization Error page showed up, with the following message:

Error 403: disallowed_useragent
You can’t sign in from this screen because this app doesn’t comply with Google’s secure browsers policy. If this app has a website, you can open a web browser and try signing in from there. You can let the app developer know that this app doesn’t comply with Google’s secure browsers policy.

Hey @niky783, sorry to jump in, but could you clarify what have you tried so far?
For example, have you tried reinstalling both apps and/or clearing their cache?

I solved it like this: from Dropbox add a new excel file. everything works now.
Try it.
See screenshot attached. I tried connecting DB as a storage system within mobile excel on my new iphone 15pro and I get this message. How do I connect DB to excel on my phone?

I cant figure out how to connect the office 365 app. I feels like it should be really simple but i cant figure it out.
Hmm, can you open an Office file through our website, to see if you're prompted to connect it that way?
Basically open the file to preview it, for example, an Excel file, then click on the "Open in" button and choose "Excel for the web".

Ok, I connected the Office 365 app in the online browser. However, that does not correct my issue on my phone. How do I allow the MS Excel app to open a file in Dropbox?
Have you tried creating a new Excel file directly from the Dropbox app, to see if that helps?
