I have an issue with viewing my folders on a linked device. Any ideas why?

Level 2

I've noticed that I can only see some of my folders on some PC's?  On my MacBook I can all of my folders, but on my Surface Pro I only see a few.

Re: Viewing my folders

Hey there @USMC  - sorry to hear about what seems to be a syncing issue at first glance; let's have a look now!

Firstly, could you let me know the status of the app on both of these devices? Is it 'Up to date' or still syncing changes?

Also, could you try our lookup tool from the page below to see if there are files in your Dropbox that may have problematic file names?

Finally, you can view a full list of the characters (letters, symbols, or numbers) that may be incompatible with the operating system on your computer in this Help Center article:

Let me know what you find and we'll take it from there. Thanks!
