Cannot restore deleted files

I accidently deleted a file. However it is not showing up in my deleted folders file on Dropbox and this page gives an error message saying "there was a problem completing the request" when I try to refresh the page.

As a first step, could you check your events page for more info on what’s occurred to content in your account? If you still get an error, try navigating to the events page and/or the deleted files tab from another browser - maybe that will do the trick.

Hi Lusll

Thanks. I went to the Events page and it does, indeed, show the file deletion event. However there seems to be no way to restore the file from that page.

The deleted files page continues to show nothing at all from today. I have tried it in another browser (Edge, I usually use Firefox) and get the same problem.

 

I have just created and deleted a text file to test what is happening. It seems that the deleted files folder is not updating beyond yesterday evening.
