I'm facing an issue with blank Scrivener files when trying to retrieve them from Dropbox.

Level 2

I have saved my scrivener files on dropbox, but when I retrieve them, they turn out to be blank. What can I do about this?

Hey there (@Sharrylee), thanks for checking in with us on the Dropbox Community! 
Now there could be a few factors causing that (i.e. I wouldn’t exclude Dropbox coming into play as a variable either), as long as you determine that the issue pertains to the save location being inside the Dropbox folder & for that reason I’d suggest replicating outside the Dropbox folder as an initial troubleshooting step. From there, are you facing this discrepancy on a specific device or across devices?
