My device is not syncing my files across team account + files disappear when I move them

I've been a member for a month of a "Dropbox Business Standard" account that is shared with my whole team. All the files I create and then put into this Dropbox show up on my device, but not anyone else's. The only time my team can access my these files is when I send a direct link. The weirder thing though is that when I move around files that existed in this team's Dropbox even before I was a member, they disappear from all the device's except mine. It's like every file I interact with only shows up on my device. Is there a way to fix this?

We solved this!

There were two identical folders in our team Dropbox (one shared with the team and one only shared with me). I was placing all my files in the folder that was only shared with me and that's why no one could see the files and why it seemed like everything I moved was disappearing from all other devices.

Hi Megan, could you check that the Dropbox desktop application is installed and running on your computer?
 
Additionally, are you saving the files in a team or shared folder? Can you see the files being added on the Dropbox site?
 
Any info you can provide would be great!

We solved this!
