Recovery of saved word document

I have opened a word document saved in my dropbox to my desktop and edited it. I have then clicked save in microsoft and closed the document instead of saving it to USB and re-uploading to dropbox. Since I didn't save it back to dropbox itself can I find and recover this document?

Re: Recovery of saved word document

The recovery files of Microsoft Office documents (Word) are local copies on the computer where you edited the file. They will not be saved in the WORD folder. For that, the option of self-saving is convenient every certain amount of minutes.
