Can I recover deleted files if I change my plan?

If I upgrade to "Prfessional," can I then search for files that were deleted six or seven years ago?

In general, if you have a Dropbox Basic/Plus subscription, you can recover any file or folder deleted in the last 30 days, and if you have a Dropbox Professional/Business plan, you can do that within 120 days. 
If you’re not sure which plan you’re currently subscribed to, just navigate to your Plan tab
However, please bear in mind that this is not retroactive. In other words, the history of the revisions starts from the date of the purchase of the subscription. Any files that were deleted more than 30 days ago will not be made recoverable with the purchase of a plan that has an extended time period.
