Lost photos from Dropbox

Hello,

I down loaded many hundreds of photos from my Nikon camera to my Apple computer. They had gone into my "dropbox". Today I tried to move them all to my "photos" section of my Apple computer, and they did not transfer into Photos. Also they were entirely gone from my dropbox.  I searched but I didn't find them anywhere on my computer. I need those photos.

Can you help me to retrieve my photos please?

Hello,

Yes I made a mistake. I tried to move the file containing 100s of my photos from dropbox to my "photos" on my apple computer.

I was warned that they might be deleted, but I proceded anyway, thinking I would have them in my "photos".

They are not there in my "photos". So is there any way I can retrieve them?

I really need these.

Hey there @Mariemma,
 
Have you checked your Deleted files page in your account online? If you can see your photos from here you can select them and restore them back to your account. You can also check your Events page too which would also allow you to be able to undo the deletion event by restoring the files from there too.
