iphone email attachment

Recently tried attaching a file to an email on an iphone 6 via the add attachmnet button. This takes you to locations>dropbox>then select the file. Once selecting the file, it spins saying waiting to download. Is anyone else having this same issue?

Hey @Jerow23

It seems that our specialist replied to your ticket yesterday. From what I’ve read, the issue has been addressed, and it’s recommended that you update to the latest version of our app, 84.2, and get the latest iOS update, 11.2.6.

Cheers!

Re: iphone email attachment

Hi guys,

Thanks for reaching out about this. Welcome to the community.

Can you please ensure you have the latest version of the Dropbox mobile app installed? Also, does this happen with all the files or specific ones?

Any detail would help!

Re: iphone email attachment

Hi Vernon,

Curently im using dropbox version 80.2 and IOS version 11.2.2 on iphone X

Re: iphone email attachment

Hi

Have your tried  uninstalling your Dropbox app, reinstalling it and signing into Dropbox again.

The Dropbox engineers continually update the app so a fresh version or just reinstall might solve your problem.

Regards

Re: iphone email attachment

I had tried to reinstall the app. I also tried on a different iPhone. Same results.

It it looks like there was an update out out this morning that does solve the issue.
