Hi @akiyamka - welcome to our Community and thanks for using Paper!

As I'm not sure what you're referring to exactly; could you elaborate on this and how you'd like to use it?

While we're at it, note that Paper does support markdown. Just paste your code in a Paper doc after having input a code block (three backticks [```] will do the trick.

If your code block doesn't render normally, try selecting the text within your code block and then from the toolbar that appears select the last option which reads 'Auto' and select it to be 'Markdown'.

I hope this helps to some extent and I'll be awaiting for your response to look further into this.

Hi @Walter, it's extended markdown syntax for hidden blocks (reader decides whether he wants to see the contents of the block.

I use this in cases where the text contains optional help information that can be skipped (and at the same time it takes up a lot of space)

Oh, I see now! Thanks for the clarification and extra details @akiyamka - they're most appreciated.

I've moved your post under the 'Paper Ideas' section so other users can find and upvote it too to show their interest in this.

Let me know if you have anything else to add or ask in the meantime; I'd be happy to follow up.
