Disable unenabled camera uploads & delete all photos

Level 2

I never enabled camera uploads.  In the mac app, Enable Camera Uploads is NOT checked and there are no devices shown.  On my iphone app it indicates Camera Uploads is NOT enabled.  However, every photo that is stored in my mac Photos app is saved in dropbox, including the most recent and the very oldest.  How can I stop this (and please don't point me to Camera Uploads issues page - it doesn't answer this) and how can I delete all of the photos in Camera Uploads? There are thousands.

Hey there @beachncity - sorry to hear about this.

If you never enabled camera uploads this will need to be looked upon with all of my tools available. Therefore, would it be OK if I reached out via email to your Dropbox associated email address so we can work on this together?

Just note that this can happen by accident some times when someone connects a phone or tablet to a computer with the Dropbox desktop application. At that point a pop-up asks if you want to use camera uploads. So, for example, if someone used your computer to charge their phone, they may have clicked OK to that pop-up without realizing it.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Thanks for the swift response @beachncity - I've just sent you a brief message so we can work on this together ( thus creating a ticket for you with ID: 8917579) - take a look at my email when you get the chance and we'll take it from there.

Cheers!
