Selective photo upload

I have thousands of photos I"m not interested in uploading to Dropbox. I am going on an international trip and would like to be able to upload only pictures and videos I'm taking as I travel. I will likely be transferring my photos to an iPad. My iPad is connected to my Dropbox account. Is there some way to only  upload pictures that I select?

Hey @Rick D.16

Thanks for reaching out on the Dropbox Community!

Bear with me for a little while & it's gonne be a piece of cake to get those travel pics online. Pancakes

If you've already tansferred all your photos to your iPad, then you could manually upload them following these steps:

#1. Open the Dropbox app.
#2. Tap the plus button (+) at the bottom of your screen.
#3. Choose “Upload Photos”.
#4. Tap "Camera Roll" on the top to change which album you upload photos from.
#5. Find the files you want to upload, and tap to select them for upload.
#6. Tap the folder icon to set the destination folder for your files.
#7. Tap Upload. The checkmark next to the file indicates that the file has been selected for upload. (Note: Manually uploading files to Dropbox may use your mobile data, if no Wi-Fi is available. If you’d like to upload multiple files at once, simply select the files you want to upload.)

Hope this is helpful to you, let me know if you'd like more details about it!

Hope you have a great time! Smiling Cat
