How can I multiselect photos? Which key do I press?

Holding down the shift key no longer works to select multiple photos at one time.  I've also tried the control key.  How can I do this process without having to check each photo individually?

In order to have a better visual of what you’re seeing, could you please send me screenshot (without personal info) of what you’re seeing after you select Export?
