I can't upload photos. Can you let me know why and what can I do?

Have done everything I am meant to - cleared cache, taken out almost everything from my drop box, but still can't load photos.  My business needs PHOTOS!  Is it a dropbox thing, that once you have had it for a while it then wants you to upgrade i.e. pay?  I get the little box saying "Not enough space ...." worked perfectly 3 weeks ago!  Help please.

Hey there @RebeccaSwan - sorry to hear about this.

Could you first forward me a screenshot of the issue at hand to make sure we're on the same page?

In addition, note that you can view your current quota usage on the following page:

https://www.dropbox.com/account/plan

Generally speaking now, if your Dropbox account is over quota then only syncing stops. Nothing will be removed and syncing will resume when you bring your account under quota again.

To get your account under quota you can do any of the following:

  1. Upgrade your account – check out www.dropbox.com/plans for other information.
  2. Increase your quota using referrals bonuses or other promotions.
  3. Leave any shared folders that put you over quota.
  4. Move files that don't need to sync out of your Dropbox folder.
