Hey there @ray21047,

To automatically upload pictures from your mobile device to your computer, you can use the Camera Uploads feature. There are two different methods to do so but both will require you to have the desktop app installed on your computer.

You can upload your photos and videos directly from your mobile by downloading the Dropbox mobile app. Then, within the mobile app settings you can enable camera uploads by:

  1. Opening the Dropbox mobile app.
  2. Tap the Account tab on the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap Camera Uploads.
  4. Toggle Camera Uploads to on.
  5. Tap Upload.

The photos and videos uploaded from the mobile will then sync down to your computer via the desktop app.

The second method would be to use camera uploads via the desktop app. To do this, simply connected your mobile device to your computer (you don’t need to have the mobile app in this method) and the desktop app will prompt you to allow camera uploads. This will sync the files to your Dropbox account via the Dropbox desktop folder.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions - Cheers!

Hey @PnK; thanks for joining the discussion here.

Can you please make sure you're using the most recent version of our mobile app?

You can check within your mobile device's app store for any pending updates and appy them if you're on an older version. Our most recent version for mobiles is 184.2.10 for Android users and 184.4 for iOS users.

Let us know what you find!
