The admin for the Dropbox account has left and doesn't want to help set me up as new admin - how can I access the business account?
Is it a paid business account @hiltonhurst or a free one?

Its a paid one Mark
Hi @hiltonhurst, how are you today?
Do you get any errors when trying to access your account?
If the admin of the team leaves, and doesn't want to pass the admin rights to someone else, I'm afraid there's not much we can do on our end about this.
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there.

We, the board of a Dutch Basketball association, share a dropbox.
Unfortunately the secretary who has left the Board has cancelled the account and this person was our admin user.
Since then we cannot change member rights etc. and this is needed.
Does anyone know a way to reinstall an admin account?
Was this a free or a paid account @KlaasTiems ?
Unfortunately as its been closed there is probably almost no way to reinstate it - deleted accounts are permanent. You are probably better off just starting a new one.

Excuse for reacting so late.
It is a free account
Hi @KlaasTiems, it wouldn't be possible to recover the account if it was deleted, unfortunately.
If you somehow had a machine connected to the account, perhaps you can access that machine, and quit the Dropbox desktop application before it starts up fully, in order to save the files in the Dropbox folder elsewhere.

Hi Jay,
There are still a few people with acces to the Dropbox, I'm one of them.
All information is available and accessable, users can add and change information.
But we are users and not admins. So we cannot change users or appoint a new admin. The last two features are important given the changes in the administration of our club
Sorry to jump in, @KlaasTiems.
What do you see when you go to the plan tab of your account settings? That you're part of a Dropbox Business team?
