My Dropbox is paid automatically from my checking acct every month on the 5th. But my bank is being taken over by BMO (another bank) and they say all accts will be inaccessible from Sept. 1 thru Sept. 5 (so that automatic pymt won't go thru on the 5th). I don't want my Dropbox acct to be closed, so what should I do?

Hi @gmadonna3, let's jump right into this!

No need for you to worry, since the account won't be closed.

What usually happens, is: if we fail to charge your card on the renewal date, we will try again for the next few days. Even if that fails -which in your case it shouldn't, based on what you described- Dropbox will not delete any of your files.

All that is going to happen, is that your account will downgrade to Basic.

I hope this clarifies!
