Business account unlinks every time I restart my PC

Business account unlinks every time I restart my PC

I have to relink to my business account every time I turn on my computer. Both my personal and business accounts are paid plans. How do I fix this? I'm on Windows.

They're both paid, but is one of them an actual Business account, or just a Plus or Professional account that you use for business purposes? Only Dropbox Business accounts allow you to link a personal account. Dropbox has ended support for free teams which allowed you to link two personal accounts, and all free teams have been disbanded.

Yes, it is an actual Business account. Since the Business account was added after my Personal account, could it be that I need to do the opposite and remove both accounts, add the business account first and then link a personal account?

I am having this exact same issue. Every time I restart Windows, Dropbox informs me that my Team Account (Paid) has been unlinked. I also have my personal account (also paid) on this computer. Everything works great except for this unlinking behavior.

Any help?

The Dropbox team was completely unhelpful in figuring this out. These canned auto-replies are aggravating.

Since many of us here at the office were having the same problem, we eventually figured it out: remove both your Dropbox accounts, and then add the business account FIRST before linking your personal.

Hey @jdriver1012, & @syverlauritz, I hope you're both doing well today!

Could you try what @syverlauritz mentioned, and let me know how it turns out for you?

I just did that and then I restarted my computer. So far, it seems to be working. While this seems like just a workaround for a bug, I am pleased it works.

Thank you.
