My 5GB is associated with an old email address at my former job that I no longer have access to. I want to move that coupon code to my new personal box acct. How can I get this done.

I'm afraid that promotions can not be transferred from one Dropbox account to another at this time.
Perhaps, you'll be able to get a new promo code from Quicker directly so you may want to contact them directly and explain the situation.
