Cancel subscription--if I have one!

Cancel subscription--if I have one!

I downloaded Dropbox in order to see something that was sent to me. I have no interest in further use of Dropbox. I read the post about how to delete an account on an iPhone (https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/cancellations-refunds/cancel-mobile) and have followed the steps. However, when I go to Subscriptions under Settings, Dropbox does not appear. I want to make sure I'm not billed for anything. I've now spent wayyyyy too much time hunting for a contact email and am very frustrated. Hoping someone can please help? Thank you.

The first question to ask is, did you give Dropbox your payment information or did you subscribe through an in-app purchase? If not, then you don't have a subscription. To verify, you can also sign in to your account on the Dropbox website and check the Plan page. If it shows that you're on the Basic plan, then the account you're signed in to is not a paid account.

Thank you! My account says I do have a plan (Basic). Nothing on the page provides a means to cancel the account. It does say Delete, but that doesn't cancel! SO APPRECIATE YOUR HELP!

Hey @Cbroner, sorry to jump in here.

I just wanted to mention that it's normal that you don't see a cancel button as there's no subscription to cancel while on the Basic plan which comes for free - you can only delete your account (if needed).

I hope this clears things up!
