Delete account but keep files on Macintosh drive -

I am not using Dropbox to the point where I am actually gaining anything from it. I wish to delete the account but keep the files and folders on my disk(s). How do I do this?

Hi @Poncho DeLeon, thanks for posting on our Community and happy Monday!

As you probably know, you can delete your account following the steps outlined here.

Just make sure to uninstall the desktop app from your computer beforehand using these steps.

Just note that if you had enabled the computer backup feature at some point in the past, you'll need to disable it as outlined here.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any other questions.
