I accepted an invite with my [email address removed per the Dropbox Community Guidelines] account to be in a shared account with a local business owner. I didn’t realize that I was going to lose access to my own account without going thru the business account. I asked the owner of business to remove me from her account, which she did. But now, I have lost my access to this account that I have had since about 2010 and I had earned an extra 1 GB , so I had 3GB altogether. Now, I am forced to open a new account with a different email address that has only 2GB. How can I get my original GB back so I can use dropbox again!
Hi @lscdancer75, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
It sounds like you were a member of a Dropbox Business team, and the team admin deleted your account.
If it's been less than 7 days since the deletion, you could ask that admin to recover your account, and then convert it to a personal account away from the Dropbox Business team.
Keep me updated with any progress!
