How can I cancel my plan?

I have just joined on free trial but after free trial it seems to I will be continued to the site because the site has informative articles but at any stage if I want to cancel my subscription  how can I cancel it and is it possible to resume in future.

Hey @jhoni99, thanks for posting your question today!

 

If you decide to upgrade your account to a paid subscription, you're free to cancel that subscription at any time.

 

After the cancellation, the account will get downgraded back to the free version, but no files will be deleted.

 

If you're using more space than a free account offers, you'll simply stop syncing, until you re-upgrade, which you can do at any time.

Hi.
I'm trying to cancel my upgrade subscription and go back to the free version.
Everything I read is telling me to go to certain places on my android app and go through certain procedures.
The options they are telling me to click on to cancel my subscription ARE NOT THERE!
PLEASE can someone tell me how the hell do I cancel this subscription???

Hi @Kiriak 

 

You'll only get that as an option if you upgraded via the GooglePlay Store. 

 

You can also check what your plan actually is at www.dropbox.com/account/plan.

So if the option isn't there I didn't upgrade through Google playstore then? Yes?
So how DO I cancel then?

What subscription do you see when accessing your plan page? If it's a Basic one, then it'd be our free one. 

 

Is the charge coming from Google or Dropbox?

How do I find out where the charge is coming from?

You've not actually said what plan you see @Kiriak. But, if it shows as Basic either you have already cancelled the plan OR if you are being charged you have a second account somewhere under a different email.
