Hi Jay.

 

Appreciate the reply.  I see a Basic account listed.  However, my CC shows the following charge for $125 on 3/30.

Honestly I can't recall how I signed up but this should be my only account.  I checked and I don't have a subscription in the app store.

Could you try entering that transaction ID, the 12 characters after *, on the card lookup tool to see if you can locate the account it's associated with?

@broke1 - then you need to be contacting your credit card company due to somebody cloning your credit card.

Already on it but do you want the account information so you can go after someone who's scamming you with fake credit card info?

As this is related to sensitive billing info, I’d recommend getting in contact with our support team directly to look into this matter in more detail.

You can do this by logging into your current account, clicking this support link, scrolling down to 'Submit a help request', and providing as much info as possible.

Once you get a ticket ID from the automated response, please let me know the number here so I can locate it in our system.

Ticket #12268619 - Apparently you've been billing me for this for 3 years for a total of $375 according to my card company.  I've actually received a new card during that time and there's no evidence of other fraud.  Sounds like a billing issue on your side.

I have tried all the suggestions, but I cannot cancel my paid subscription? Is there no way I can deal directly with dropbox and ask them to cancel? must i ask my bank to stop the debit order? at this stage i don't see any other option

 Hey, @Ilan3 I've moved you to this thread, where others have asked the same question. 

 

If you still have issues cancelling, check your account type by visiting the plan's page here

 

If I were you, I would also use the look-up tool just to identify the account the charge is coming from.
