I am getting pop up boxes to contact support - I paid for a subscription but it doesn’t upgrade me - very frustrating and contacting support is just bots

Could you clarify if you upgraded your account through the app store on a mobile device or if you did it via our website directly?

I Bought the upgrade on the mobile Dropbox app. I really appreciate your help - there was also supposed to be a promotion up until Sept but that didn’t work either I was charged for the full year 178.20
Please let me know if you need more info

Hey @SR, is it possible that you upgraded the wrong Dropbox account?

 

Also, can you access the Dropbox app on your mobile app, access your settings and let me know if you see an option to "Restore purchase" there?

Hi Megan , Iit says I cannot restore purchases I get a pop up box that says this copy paste : Unable to Restore
Purchases
The operation couldn't be
completed
(NSURLErrorDomain error
409.)
I only have one account and when I try to upgrade it says this which is rediculous- it wants to add another year to the payment I already can’t use : “your subscription will begin after your current subscription will end Aug 08 2023 ….” Then it prompts me to pay with Apple Pay

My account is connected to my Apple Pay and is 100$ over what was promised in the promotion and I have no access still a red box pops up on the app saying “something went wrong please refresh or contact customer support “ the price is quotes for the year is 77.88
This all transpired on the mobile app. I used drop box in the past and never encountered such problems- I am
Late to submit some important files - I appreciate your quick reply and hopefully can resolve my 2 issues
