If your plan is administered by Google Play, I'd suggest you contact them regarding any price increase.
Since your plan is purchased through them, they should be able to help you with any related questions as to why your pricing isn't the same.

I feel your pain. It is impossible to do business with corporates like this when something goes even slightly off track. They just dont care enough about customers to put any significant customer service in place. I guess they believe it is cheaper to just lose the odd customer instead of actually having a real person to talk to.
I think this is the worst part of tech and of ai. Kind of an oxymoron really.
