DropBox used to be great, but now they have terrible customer service and are extremely dishonest.
I paid $200 before a free trial ended (4 days ago) and now in the middle of attempting to do some file work and share, the account has been suspended for the trial. worse yet I can get no help online or by phone.
Hi @cstrohmeyer, let's jump right into this!
Is it possible that you paid for a different Dropbox account, other than the one you're using?
Have you used our self-serve look-up tool, in order to locate the account behind the charge?
Let me know more info once you have it.

It appears I had to cancel my free trial in order for my new subscription to work.
Honestly this is/was rather strangle and should have been noted during my Chat session to upgrade, but then Drop Box did not even provide this person with the correct tools to help as it took her three tries just to find the correct path as to what devices were on my plan (in the Drop Box employees defense, this path was very hidden and very illogical)
I will likely stay with Drop Box for now, but it appears this company is run by Techies who have no real connection to their users
