The same situation happened to me this week. I did not even know I was registered for a HelloSign account and got charged on my credit card. How they got my credit card info is a mystery as I never knowingly created an account - did Dropbox share that info with them automatically? Very disappointing and deceiving business strategy. I will certainly file a complaint.
@Dot3 - they are the same company. There are banner adverts for HelloSign on the Dropbox site giving you pricing info and flows to help you sign up at discounted rates.

It happened with my account too! I am going to have to dispute with my bank. I am trying to get in touch with support. They used to have a chat support but they discontinued it. It was not explained to me clearly what kind of package I was purchasing. I purchased the 25$ a month package because I was told I would be charged 25$ a month.
And then all of a sudden, I was charged 80$ and was told I was under the $6 a month package and the $80 was the annual fee. I was like... okay? I guess thats fine?
And then last night I was charged $600 out of no where! I subscribed to the 25$ a month plan back in January (It is now march) and all of a sudden I am charged $600?!?!?! I was told it was $25 a month not $600 yearly!!!! I have the emails to prove it.
Hellosign and dropbox super shaddy. I can't even get in contact with support.

Have you tried using this form in regards to the Hello Sign charge?
If I were you, I'd give it a go, and you can also use our Support channel, from an incognito tab while you're signed out of your Dropbox account.
Once you do, reply back to this thread, and let me know your ticket number, so I can locate it in our system.

I was changed by hellosign a day before my dropbox trial ended even though both said a 30 day free trial.
This is extremely upsetting dropbox.
