I am a free account user with just the basic 2 GB of space. My computer shows I have 715MB and my dropbox app also confirms I have 1.8GB unused space.
So why am I getting messages saying my Dropbox is full and will no longer sync files?
I also have 250GB spare capacity on my computer's hard drive.
I tried another browser and had the same results with 54.1 gb used. I don't see a size column for the file list and I don't see how to add columns:
and there is no size option under the elipse.
I figured it out. There are no folders with large sized files:
and this is the linked directory on my laptop:
I've had the Dropbox account since 2003. I hate to do it, but if I delete this account, can I open a new one with the same email address?
Hey @sapelzin, sorry for the late reply.
If you're still having issues with this, may we reach out via email to investigate a tad further?

Win10 OS. I'm having same issue as everyone else; will post some screen shots:
Using FF and Chrome; same issue. No way to see from the browser (that I can figure out) how much space each folder/file is using? UI is not good.
What does Rewind mean? And when I select "Show deleted files" from above menu, it just shows all files. The left sidebar menu seems to work for showing deleted files, and there are none.
I've also tried uninstalling DB and reinstalling it w/new installer; again, no change.
Oh, and plenty of room on my HDD, and backups disabled.
Welcome to the Community, @gdog503!
Is there any chance that external drive backup has also been enabled on your Dropbox account? Can you send me a screenshot of what you see here?
As per Dropbox Rewind, it's a feature used to roll your Dropbox account/specific folders back to a specific point in the past, thatās within your file recovery window.

Thanks for your reply Nancy! Here's the screenshot you asked for:
It appears DB was archiving my backed-up DB files on my passport backup drive? Not sure how that was done? So I need to turn that off...
I do not recall setting up DB to archive files from my passport backup HDD!! Wonder how that happened? For my notes, how to get to the Backup page from home page:
I deleted my DB backup files and now I can finally use DB again. Thanks Nancy!!
Glad to hear the issueās resolved, @gdog503!
In general, once you plug your external drive to your device, Dropbox should show you a prompt in order to start the backup. Is there any chance that you accidentally clicked on that option? If so, then external drive backup should start immediately.
If you need something else though, give me a shout.
