Why do I keep getting asked to upgrade?

Why do I keep getting asked to upgrade?

josephsarah

Hello. I'm only using 6.85 GB of my 8.38 GB of storage, but DB keeps notifying me that my account is about to stop syncing unless I upgrade. Why is that? Isn't ~1.5 GB plenty of room for the pdf files that I store in my DB?

Cheers,

Joseph

Hey @josephsarah, and welcome to our Community!

Are those email notifications that you're receiving? And if so, are they going to the same email address you see in your account settings?

Meaning, is it possible that you have another account that is actually full, under a different email address?

If these are not email notifications, can you send me a screenshot, so I can check it out?

Thanks!

Yes, it's the same email address. The notifications are always on my account and I also received an email.

Thanks for the update and the screenshots, Joseph! I hope you had a great weekend!

It seems that this is an expected safety measure we take.

This is to inform you of your quota and to prevent you from perhaps adding a large folder that would cause your account to stop syncing.

I'm afraid it cannot be disabled, however, if you want, you can add some extra space to your account for free.
