so in July my account has renewed annually for over the last 8 or 9 years.
I have my paid drop box account and a 2nd small one that I sued to share files. I always felt funny leaving someone into my main dropbox
when my account renewed, dropbox credited my 2nd account
well... now I am supposed to do all this email swapping monkey farting around to move the subscription to my correct account
i am ready to just buy another account for #200 and not do it.. their tech support wants me to do all the work from their snooping and then let them off the hook
dropbox you suck at customer support and the fact that Kevin in sales has me amd enough to do this, well you can figure it out
Hey @tommygt, thanks for posting on our Community and sorry to hear about this.
I'm not quite sure how this might have happened in the first place. Can you provide some additional information so that we can advise further?
Also, if you reached out to our Support team about this, could you share your ticket ID in order to look it up in our system?
As for the email swapping, you could avoid that by putting all the content of your first account in a folder and sharing it with your second one. From there, you could change the folder's ownership by following these steps.
In any case, please keep me posted.
