Account deleted

Hi, my account has been deleted by Dropbox and I think I may have mistakenly opened a new account so can't access my original. I have tried all options with Dropbox help with no success. I have no idea what the problem is and cannot find a way to talk to a real person to solve the issue. I do not seem to fit in with any of the labels Dropbox offers at any point nor are any their contact pathways any use to me.

I would greatly appreciate any concrete solution.

Thankyou

If your new account is using the same email address as the old account, then it was probably deleted. Once an account has been deleted, there's no way to recover it or the files it contained. How long ago did you last use the account? If it was idle for more than a year then it would have been deleted due to inactivity.

You can try contacting Support, but it's unlikely that they'll be able to recover the old account. You'll need to contact Dropbox Support directly. Visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for sign in issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.
