I've been trying to enable 2 step verification for literally years. Never works. I'm giving it one last try. I have the basic plan.
I can toggle on the Enable 2 step Verification in settings but every time it asks for the password associated with my linked email account it say invalid though I've confirmed and confirmed.
Are you sure its not asking for your Dropbox password? It shouldnt need to know your email password (mine doesnt)

Thanks for replying. I tried that also and it still returned invalid. I THINK this is a setup step only....or I hope it is.
Hey @Newenglandjane1, sorry to see you're having trouble with enabling two-step verification.
During the setup, the password that is asked from you is your Dropbox password.
If you're entering your Dropbox password and it still says that it's invalid, can you try to reset it and then try setting up two-step verification again?
Let me know how it goes.
