Hi there I have recently had the yahoo email address needed to sign in to my Dropbox account deactivated. I have spoken to Yahoo and there is no way I am getting the email address back. Unfortunatley i have 8 years worth of files I need to recover. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can access my account please? When I go to login and enter email address/password it asks for a verification code sent to my email address which I now can't access. Thank you.
Hi @RG17, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Without access to the email address, it wouldn't be possible to reset the password to the account.
Do you have any devices currently logged into your account at this time?
This will help me to assist further!

If you forget your password or it's expired, or if you're being sent a one-time verification code, you won't be able to access the account without access to the email address associated with it. The only other way to gain access would be if you already had an active device linked to the account.
Hi there thanks for getting back to me, no unfortunately I don't have any other devices logged in to my account. Our computer was recently upgraded so I lost all my saved logins.
Becky.
Hi there thanks for getting back to me, unfortunately nothing on that link works and I don't have an active device linked to the account.
Becky.
Hi Becky, I hope you don’t mind if I jump in, as well.
You mentioned in your first message that Dropbox sends you a verification code to your email address, which you can’t access, right? Is it possible that you’re referring to the 6-digit security code?
Have you, by any chance, already logged a ticket about this with our support team?
