How do I delete ALL my personal information, especially e mail address, from Dropbox database.

 

I had Dropbox. I cancelled my account. I no longer want Dropbox ( which should have been obvious by the fact that I deleted/ cancelled my account.

 

I am still receiving e mails from Dropbox about privacy policy Yada, Yada.

 

I do not want Dropbox any more. How can I delete all my information from Dropbox database, ALL of it including my e mail address.

 

please help me, please someone help me.

I cannot get in touch with Dropbox but have looked through help topics and have done everything required of me, I believe. I used to have a paid account years ago, but cancelled that.

Hey @Frustrated freida, thanks for reaching out to our Community.

 

I'm sorry to see you no longer wish to have a Dropbox account.

 

Cancelling a paid subscription, doesn't really delete the account itself.

 

Since you're still receiving emails and can also post in this forum, it means your Dropbox account is still active.

 

So, if the subscription has been cancelled, and you've made sure you've saved a copy of any files you might need, you can go ahead and delete the account.
