Hi
I use four devices on Dropbox. Whenever I want to use the 4th device I sign out of one. This has worked for years. However, just recently I found I cannot sign out of my main computer it is always signed in. It never appears on the link of 'Which one do you want to sign out from'. Can anyone assist, please? I have tried to log out of all devices and it has still not worked.
Thanks
Claire
Hi
So I did what you asked. And now I have my iPhone, iPad and MacBook logged into Dropbox. Dropbox has disappeared from the finder on my iMac, but I can log into it from the web. It means that the documents from Dropbox are no longer stored on my iMac. This is a different setup but probably better as I don't need to logout from anything. Correct?
Thanks for this. I did what you said and also reinstalled the Dropbox app on my iMac, and now I can see all linked devices again. Thanks again for your help.
Best wishes
Claire
Jay,
Browsing help for this issue now that I am moving to a new laptop. I got the notification on the 4th device and wish to disconnect my old laptop. Unfortunately, I do not have any OK or Sign Out button to confirm my choice. I am uploading a screenshot of what I have.
More information: The Sign Out button is grayed out when nothing is clicked but disappears once I select the device to disconnect. So I clicked on the white space and it worked. So you just need to fix the colors on the button. Additionally, the popup screen to confirm the disconnect has the OK button as white and invisible but I clicked on the invisible area and the confirm worked as well. This is on a Linux Mint 21.3 OS which is off of Ubuntu 22.
