Hi
My dropbox documents have been infected by a virus, transfering all my documents at Dropbox account to the unreadable .zepto. How to restore? By the way, I was surprised to find my and recovery disc and dropbox and my PC transmitted to .zepto.
clean your computer and for single files you can use via dropbox website "restore function". If there is chance to make mass restore function I dont know, I just write this question on support today.
I have the same problem, this solution you suggest does not work .
I do select restore previous version, it does show an older version but does not restore, go straight back to the .zepto version.
restore function doesnot work properly, after slash restore, i receive a message indicating error
clean up the virus or restore your pc from backup.
restore your data from your backup or request an event rollback.
I am also trying to restore files that have been corrupted. Restore does not work - it shows me the file but when I choose restore it still comes up as a zepto - not the restored file.
The corruption happed from someone else who shares the dropbox folder - I have removed their link to the folder. But now need to restore those files.
request a rollback at www.dropbox.com/support
use www.dropbox.com/events to find a time and file replacement.
It is restored! Just name is old. After restore download file, change name and extension ams everything will be ok. Use mass restore function, just ask Dropbox support for it and they will revert all vÃrus event!
