Hi,
Got an email today notifying me that my Dropbox has been temporarily suspended for generating excessive traffic. The email says that if its my first suspension, I can unlock it on the account page but I can't see how to do that.
Anyone able to point me to unlock this?
Also, the link was only shared with my Dad and brother. My Dad said he had a few issues and had to refresh multiple times but it still seems suspicious that I'd hit a bandwidth limit as only two people have the link. Is there a way find out what bandwidth usage dropbox is complaining about.

That'd be great. Do you need me to post my email or can you get it from my account?

I think it's resolved just as we've waited out the 24 hour limit but I am a little worried it'll happen again as I don't know what triggered it this time.
Unfortunately @icoulter86 there is no way to know what caused it, and the other thing to watch is if it does the ban will be longer than 24 hours - it increases every time.

This really sucks. The least Dropbox can do is warn people ahead of time that they're going to suspend links. It happened to me at the worst time possible. I'm now looking into alternatives to Dropbox and will probably move everything over to whatever platform I find. I have a client on my back to get the files he needs and don't have anything to tell him because Dropbox won't tell me anything useful even after I upgraded in order to resolve the issue. 24 hours is all they say. 24 hours from when? I'm really frustrated and disappointed as this is directly affecting my livelihood. SMH
What about the part that says that you can remove the suspension by visiting the account page? I can't see how to do this anywhere I look and there's no article in the help section either to guide on this.
