I recently was invited to a shared DropBox folder with a client and had my account merged with their company DropBox for some reason. We are both confused by this. Is there a way to reverse/undo this?

I put in a ticket to customer support Wed night but have yet to hear back from anyone. I'd really appreciate if this could get resolved quickly, as all my files are now under this client's account, which 1. is a security issue and 2. I don't want to lose my files by them booting me from their business account. Does anyone happen to know a solution for this or know a number I can call to get more immediate assistance from DropBox?

Hi @Drea465 

This happens when you are invited to join the account rather than invited to join a share - it does say this is happening during onboarding. 

 

You can get the other person to simply remove you from the Team by following https://help.dropbox.com/teams-admins/admin/delete-member

 

Note they are NOT deleting the account just the link to the business plan.
