Hi.
A client of mine had their free dropbox account hacked. It started sending out emails to contacts. The hacker seems to have enabled 2fa on the dropbox account. Now we can't login.
The user doesn't even need dropbox.
Can dropbox simply delete the account for us?
If so, how do I get a hold of the correct department at dropbox to help us?
Thanks for your time.

Your client (not you) needs to contact Support directly. Have them visit the Support page while they're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and they'll see an option for sign in issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure they're not signed in.
Can't get past the 2fa.
We finally got hold of someone at dropbox this morning that is helping us now.
We'll see.
We really just want the account deleted.
