What if admin stops

What if admin stops

I want to be a team member of the Advanced package, but what happens if the admin (the 'holder' so to speak) of that group stops or disappears?

Hi @TheStijg, and welcome aboard the forum.

In general, there can be various team admins on a single Business team. If there’s a chance that your team admin may leave at some point, they can also make someone else a team admin on the Business account. This way, even if they leave, another user will have admin permissions on the team and it won’t be left without an admin.

In order to do this, the current team admin will need to follow these steps

Hope this helps, but I’ll be around the forum, if you need something else!

Thanks, but what if something bad happens? The admin disappears or dies, or does not want to follow the steps you mention (for whatever reason)? I just think bad, but I want - as a photographer - to store Thousands of photo's at a good place.

Hi @TheStijg, you have a point, and your concerns are valid. Unfortunately this isn't something that we can predict though.

I would suggest the same thing Nancy mentioned above, about having multiple team Admins. If this doesn't work, you can keep your individual account, and create a new one, in order to join the Business team.

Thanks Mega but I do not understand the last part (“joining THE business team”).

As for the first part, which permission should I have as a (new) admin member? It is quite a list.

Hi again, @TheStijg.

If you’d like to have all types of permissions on the Business team, then I’d recommend becoming a Team Admin.
