I got this message yesterday. I have not received it before. How long are others banned from accessing my files? Is there a way I can lift the ban?
Initial bans are usually 24 hours. After that it should auto lift.
To remove early you can pay to upgrade to a paid plan.

Thanks. I will check again today - for sure it has been more than 24 hours. I do have a paid plan. I guess I am not paying enough.
If you are on a paid plan then the bans still apply but you must have HUGE amounts of data being used - especially videos etc.
If its over 24 hours log a message with support at www.dropbox.com/support as it could be you've been banned for a DCMA take down etc.
