Hi there,
I have a problem. I was working with a company and they added my email to their dropbox. Now, I don't work with them anymore and I have worked with other clients... but now someone from that old team suspended my dropbox and now I can not even login with that email to dropbox at all. What do I do? How can I regain access to my dropbox? Anybody has an idea?
Can't contact the customer support, all pages just lead back to asking the community. Hope someone can help.
Thank you
Thanks for posting on the forum, @Hava!
If I understand correctly, you were added to a Business team, right?
If yes, and your Dropbox account has been suspended, then only your team admin can unsuspend it on their end.
After that, they can convert the account to a personal one instead.
I hope this helps, but let me know if you need something else.

Hi Nancy,
I guess so, since they could suspend me. The office will not convert their account into a personal one though.
They will keep it as a business one. Can they, on their end convert my email into a personal account? That would be weird,
but if this is the only way, I will reach out to them and ask them to do that.
Best regards.
Just to clarify, your email address wasn’t previously connected to a personal Dropbox account of yours, correct?
If not, then you can perhaps ask them to unsuspend that Dropbox account, link it to a different email address and change the password of that Dropbox account.
After that, you should be able to use your personal email address to create a Dropbox account of your own.
Is this what you'd like to achieve perhaps?
