Without warning, my dropbox account was deleted. When I try to log in it says my account does not exist. Before this, a colleague invited me to dropbox business (I had the basic one before) so I am not sure if that has anything to do with this
Sounds like the Business owner has removed you from the Team.
You need to ask them to reinstate you and REMOVE you from the team, not delete you.
